I write about the things that anger me, the things that fascinate me. I don't really wait for inspiration, I just sit down and start typing. Of course, all good writing is rewriting, revising. Personally, I carry index cards in my purse so when something strikes me as a subject I want to explore, I jot down a sentence or two right then. Once I get to the computer, I let all my feelings just spill out on the paper.
