I am a former Iowan and loved your book about growing up in Iowa. I saw that you just went to Ireland. How did you decide when was the best time to go to Ireland? We did the UK last year.

I asked an Irish author friend about the best time. He said June is best because it rains less then. However I had a scheduling conflict in June so we went in May. And we had great weather. The natives commented every day about how unusual the weather was; how lucky we were. I figure we had the luck of the non-Irish. ;) so you just never know. It's a beautiful country, rain or shine.
