How do you get inspired to write?

V.W. Singer I've enjoyed writing ever since I knew there was such a thing. The stories and characters fill my head and float in my imagination all the time.

Unlike many authors, I write based on "stories" or plots that I want to tell, or situations that I want to explore. The "what if" ...? I don't create characters who run off with seeming lives of their own. It is always the story that comes first for me.
