Readers seem to either really like Susan or find her infuriating. I kind of like that about her. The protagonist of the new series, Kick Lannigan, is 21 and she has a boatload of issues and a dark wit and no tolerance for bullshit. I think you'd like her. Susan is hard to cast. I've had a few actresses in mind over the years, but nobody sticks. Tell your son to keep working on the cast list and to let me know when he secures 100 million to fund the project.
