I was at a church called the SonSpot and I talked about how love drives us to earnestly seek spiritual gifts. After I spoke, a pastor got up and said "I think Jonathan is right. 1 Corinthians 12, 13, and 14 are a sandwich. Chapters 12 and 14 are about spiritual gifts, and chapter 13 is about love. There is power on the outside and love in the middle.
