There are so many things that inspire me, be it a piece of dramatic music, a famous painting or just the nature outside my window. I like to seek out character inspiration in situations that I have experienced and turn those small, suburban memories into big epic feelings that weave into a narrative arc. Both Queen of Hearts and Wendy Darling were of course inspired by the original texts of both those works: Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan. My family and the lives of those that I love also serve as great inspiration.
