Goodreads asked K.A. Potter-Hughes:

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

K.A. Potter-Hughes Fulfilling a goal I've had for myself since writing silly poems when I was in second grade. It is so rewarding when readers care about the characters like they are real, or readers pick-up on allusions and other literary devices sprinkled throughout the work. It's not about me, I'm merely the conduit the characters in my head use to be heard.
