I was 100% a geek when I was younger and I'm 100% a geek now! Though I think that I was a bit shyer about how passionate I was about certain nerdy things (musical theater, books, '60s music, '80s movies, academics) when I was a teen and a much more out and proud Potterhead/Whovian now. I love the passion of fandoms and the geek community and it was such a joy to tap into that for this book.

Hi, I just finished A Geeks Guide To Unrequited Love yesterday and I loved it. (I was really excited when I read the Princess Bride references and Harry Potter ones as well!) my questions for you is :what fandoms are you a part of? Also, If you are part of the Harry Potter fandom, what are your Hogwarts and Ivermonry houses? (Hufflepuff and Thunderbird are mine).

I presume your novel Three Day Summer is based on the Woodstock concert in Bethel, NY or one of its reunion concerts (in Bethel or Saugerties as they both hold them) held in August on the anniversary of the original Woodstock concert. At as I live by the original site, I was wondering if you have visited the area or am I totally off base about the three day concert location?
