I've found the best way to deal with writer's block is to just walk away. If you pound your head against the wall for ideas, you'll end up with a bruised forehead and a blank page. I've had to walk away from the Finding Paradise manuscript for days at a time and let the novel breathe before I could come back with fresh ideas and motivation to keep going.
