William Davrick
William Davrick asked Lila Leigh Hunter:

Hi Lila, I received an email a few days or so ago. "Lila has sent you a Direct Message." Via TrueTwit. I've tried to find out what that message was and can't get it because TrueTwit wants me to join first. I don't normally join something until I have thoroughly researched it and then decide if it's something I want to do or not. Was there more to this than just TrueTwit's creative attempt to get another member? :)

Lila Leigh Hunter Hi, William,

I believe if you go to your direct messages on Twitter you will see the message. All it should say is that I use TrueTwit. It's a standard message they send when someone follows me. The app prevents fake accounts but can be quite annoying. I get the same message every time I follow someone that use their service.

So yes, it's their attempt to get more members. There's no need to click or sign up. You can just ignore it.
