Greetings! What is the first story remember reading and what impact did it have on you, particularly as a writer today?

Melanie Dickerson Hi, J. Else! I honestly don't know! I read a lot as a child, but it's hard to remember specifics. My mother always made sure we had plenty of books in the house. And even as a child, I loved romantic stories and had "crushes" on book characters. I also loved fairy tales, mostly the romantic ones. I was always a romantic. :-)
