Many of my childrens' books are inspired from real life situations. I tend to like children's books that educate in some way. My recent one: Emma's Birthday; Learning to be Gracious, is a situation I think most parents can relate to. A child receives a gift they don't like, and they are inappropriate or rude in their response. Being gracious can be a difficult concept to grasp, but one that will serve them well, over their lifetime.
