Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Acacia K. Parker I got the idea for this book because I love dystopian / apocalyptic novels and I love vampires and I thought ... wouldn't that be interesting to put them together? Originally the story centered around the same agenda, however it was more of a Greek God (think Percy Jackson), however as the story progressed and I got older, I realized I wanted to do a vampire story that no one had ever heard of before, and hopefully ... that's what you're going to get.
