Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

David Pepper I travel extensively around Ohio, and am fascinated by the unique politics of each community and county. Some have long histories and traditions of voting a certain away, sometimes in surprising ways. And as those who read the book will see, the unique tradition of one county--and an unexplained variance from that tradition--serves as the basis of the entire story.
