Hi Juliet, Firstly just want to say I love your books - you have probably been my favorite author for a little over 10 years now. So I'll be travelling to Ireland next year with my mum who is also a huge fan, and we were wondering where exactly the Sevenwaters lake is? There's a wiki that states it is just near Newry, but not exactly which one it is and it would be lovely if you have an answer for us. (+hugs)

Hi Liv,
Sevenwaters is based on the Slieve Gullion area near Newry, but as it would have been back in early medieval times (with a lot more forest!) There isn't a big lake there - when I visited I didn't have access to the lake but I know it's smallish. I've been told the Mourne mountains area is in fact a lot more Sevenwaters-like. You could visit Slieve Gullion Forest Park, where there has been significant replanting in the deforested area, and also the Mourne Mountains, near Carlingford. Wish I was coming too!

I have some questions regarding Wildwood Dancing and its sequel!
-Is Cezar dead or is he your planned antagonist in your originally planned third book?
-In 'Cybele's Secret' it was said that Stela was like all of the sisters. But when she grows up what job does she have and what kind of man does she marry?
-Does Duarte ever marry?
-Does Duarte meet Paula again?
-Do Tati and Sorrow have any children?

My favorite of your works is "Flame of Sevenwaters." I was burned at age 2 and have scars on my face and right hand, so I relate to Maeve a lot. I needed surgery so that I could use my hand. I've dealt with people's cruelty as well as my own self-doubt. I wanted to ask if you had done research about burns and medieval treatments when writing about Maeve. Was Liadan's treatments based in historical medical practices?
