What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Charles Conway Just do it! There's no point sitting there thinking "I'll do it one day" because one day won't come on its own. If I had to give one piece of advice though it would be to make sure that the world you create for your characters is represented consistently throughout the stories you tell. Create a database of your characters and locations and update it as new information is presented to your readers, so that little Jimmy doesn't have blue eyes in one story and green in the next. Your readers will notice any inconsistency and pull you up on it!
