Amanda
Amanda asked Amy Engel:

Hi Amy I was lucky enough tor read this book as part of our October book club pick. This has been the best book i have read in a long time!! i couldn't put it down and once i finished i have not been able to stop thinking about it. I loved how we got to see insights on the other Roanoke girls. I was interested in granddad i would have loved to know what his chapter would have said. What his parents were like?

JP
JP asked Amy Engel:

Are you going to write more Thrillers/Suspense? I loved your Roanoke Girls and The Familiar Dark! You have great prose, dark small-town atmospheres, and very real characters!

Caroline Payne
Caroline Payne asked Amy Engel:

You write atmosphere and place so well! How did you decide to set The Familiar Dark in the Missouri Ozarks?
