What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Shayne Ford Read a lot. Write a lot. Observe life. There are many things to write about, and they're within your grasp. You have to learn to see them. Polish your writing to the point it flows naturally and it's enjoyable for the reader. Learn to be succinct and poetic at the same time. Writing is a powerful tool if used correctly. If you're in for the long haul, be honest in your writing. Write what you love to read, and write if you have something to say. You'll garner fans for life.
