I love your books!! I have been reading them for as long as I can remember. Do you have any recommendations as far as book editing? I really would like to become a book editor and would love to start somewhere. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Publishing has editorial positions for different kinds of editors...one who reads and acquires new books from agents and writers, and copy editors, who do the nitty-gritty of getting a book ready to be published. It often takes years and a full time job in the industry to become an acquisitions editor. Copy editors must have a keen interest and knowledge of grammar and the English language, and an eye for detail. A lot of fact checking can be involved too.
