Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Rory Allardice It is a book about a trip I made to the Yemen in 2007. I kept a journal, took many photos and had very strong impressions of my stay. My book follows my usual style of reflection on the journey, on what has happened before and after the journey and I draw a lot on my travel experiences. I try to be informative and entertaining but this is not a travel guide of a history of the country. It is a travelogue based on my impressions of the country and the people.
