Hello! One of my utmost favorite scenes in a book comes from Before Jamaica Lane in the form of a flashback when Olivia is cooking a traditional Thanksgiving dinner in honor of her mom. Is there a particular scene in one of your books that is your favorite or really resonated with you when you wrote it? Also, what food or dish do you associate with your own family traditions?

Hi Ashley,
Thanks for your question. One of my favourite scenes is from On Dublin Street when Joss finally gives into the idea that Ellie has become family and she'll be there for her no matter what. When I was writing the scene she holds her hand while they fall asleep crying, I bawled my eyes out.
As for you second question... honestly we're not a family of cooks! But my dad is a good baker and he taught me to bake when I was a little. I have very fond memories of making a mess of the kitchen while making scones!

Hi Samantha! I love your work and think you are absolutely fantastic; I often find it hard to finish a romance novel but your work is a true exception. My question for you is a little dated but I've been wondering if Beck from 'Into the Deep' will ever get his own story with Claudia? It's been a long time since I've read the book but I remember being so obsessed with their relationship and would love to read about it.

Hi Samantha, I just finished reading and reviewing Hero. I enjoy reading your books, you're a very talented author. I remember reading that you visited Boston last year while here in the US. Was it while you were there that you were inspired to write Hero? Did the city inspire you or had you had Cain and Alexa's story already plotted out before you were there? Thanks, Sue Czarnomski
