Well, I started on page one. Of course you begin by reading and reading and reading. Then just start writing. While writing, look into writer's groups and critique groups. There's lots of information everywhere about how to write a book, readily available at the library, bookstore and online. But first you should know if you like it. Not everyone finds great happiness in writing and if it isn't a satisfying experience, try something that is!

I love your books. The first book of yours I read was Virgin River, I read it in only a few hours. Do you intend your books to be quick reads? To be honest, I do read quite quickly but I was wondering about that. How long does it normally take you to write from beginning to end for just one book?

Just wanted to tell you that I have read many, many of your books and have loved each and every one. You are one of a few authors that I'll buy a book without even reading the blurb because I know I will enjoy it. I'm glad you love what you do because I love to read anything you write. ?
