Hi Patricia,
1)The first book I wrote is a book of poems called, "Poetically Said!" 'Pathways of the Heart!' The writing courses I took in high school were my biggest inspiration. I've been writing ever since!
2) Many of my stories and poems are characteristic of my own experiences and people I know, but many parts are not. I take bits and pieces from different experiences and make them my own.
3)My best advice is to just keep writing. If you have a passion for writing... don't stop! Also, try writing many different forms of writing... poetry, short stories, children's stories, etc... you will learn what you really enjoy!
