There isn't a best thing about being a writer. It's what I do. It's what I have to do. Fortunately, I love it. But if I had to dig deep and find one aspect I adore, it's that moment when I write a scene, a sentence, or a word, and I can feel the surprise in the mind of the reader because I feel that same surprise. Absolute bliss!
