Sorry--did not get a notification someone has asked a question! Basically my writing process starts with a muse whispering something in my ear or a conversation sparking an idea. I'll usually write it down, then go from there fleshing it out. I'll often add in timeline events and, if it's a well-formed ending, start there and work backwards.
