Goodreads asked Kimberly Gordon:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Kimberly Gordon Never let ANYONE tell you that you can't write, your ideas are stupid or you'll never make money. If there's a story inside of you, it's there for a reason. Write no matter what anyone else says, because this isn't about them. It's about you.

And never give up, especially when you hit the "shit sandwich" mode. Every writer hits this. It's when you suddenly think everything you're writing is crap. Just keep showing up at the page each and every freaking day, whether you want to or not. Kick your butt into that chair and don't stop for anything! Write like your life depends on it. You'll amazed at what you can do!
