Hi Martha! My book club read your novel "Lilac Girls" for October. Any recommendations for questions we can use during our discussion? Any points that you would like us to focus on as we discuss?

Martha Hall Kelly Hi Erin, There are some sample discussion questions on my website marthahallkelly.com under the book club page that might be helpful. One of my favorite topics to focus on is the mother-daughter connections in the book, but usually groups have their own favorites once they get talking.

Just finished Lilac Girls...loved every minute of it. I am a big fan of Holocaust Literature and history and was set on this path by my college professor, Vera Laska and her book, Women in Resistance and the Holocaust. You have no idea how thrilled I was to see it mentioned in your notes. I still own a copy and peruse the stories. Dr. Laska was an amazing, yet terrifying, narrator of the Holocaust.? (not really a ??)
