Why did you title your first book A Faithful Son? Was there any possibility of another title?

Thanks for asking.

I liked exploring the idea of loyalty and faithfulness - outside of the religious term "faith". During the third year of writing the novel, I came across Patty Griffin's song "A Faithful Son". After my first hearing of the song, I knew I had my novel's title.
