I absolutely loved Mortal Song. Having grown up in Japan I love any work that takes me back to the land, culture, and mythology that I love, and your book did just that. Any plans for any other Japanese themed books, either featuring Sora again or otherwise?

I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed A Mortal Song and that it rang true with your experiences! Right now I don't have any definite plans for another Japanese-themed book, but that doesn't mean it won't happen. I'm getting started on new books all the time. :) Also, I've consumed a lot of Japanese media over the years and I know it's had an impact on my storytelling in general, so you can probably see at least a little of that influence in any of my books.
