Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

R.H. Neil Some of the scenes were inspired by real events that I encountered during my law enforcement career. I used those experiences to give readers an insight into the hopes, fears, and frustrations of a police officer. But not just when we’re kicking butt by fighting crime, like a movie.
Being a husband and a parent made me a better cop, but being a cop created unbelievable challenges for my wife and kids. They overcame them all and have made me a blessed man.
It allowed me to write an action packed thriller with deep characters that people can relate to.
