Goodreads asked R.H. Neil:

How do you get inspired to write?

R.H. Neil I write in a wardrobe. Yes, I said a wardrobe. When I was a kid my favorite books were The Chronicles of Narnia, by C.S. Lewis. While I don’t write in the fantasy genre, I’m still inspired by the creative world of Narnia. So I made it necessary to pass through a wardrobe to enter my writing room-fur coats and all.
It's the perfect space, but I still have to be inspired by what I write. Passionate about the story I want to share. The lessons I want others to experience and ponder on. That's why I write thrillers involving a rookie city cop from the country. I know that story first hand, and all its struggles.
