Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Amy K. Rognlie My husband and I actually came up with the Miss Opal character together one day on a long drive home. I fell in love with her, and decided to set the book in the area we live. Since I haven't lived in Texas very long, I was interested to learn more about the local history of my (fairly) new state.
