Thank you so much, Melanie! You can find my second novel in stores. It is Today We Go Home and is the story of a woman who disguises herself as a man to enlist in the army to fight in the Civil War. Her diary is inherited in present day by an army veteran who just returned home from Afghanistan and is struggling to find her new life as a civilian. The diary helps her make sense of her experiences. I hope you give it a read!

Hi Kelli, Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed your book. I'm mom to a daughter from China and each year on our "gotcha day" I give her books for a future library (she is now 16, and doesn't get much time to pleasure read). This one is going to get added this year. It will be a great addition to our library and will give her perspective on the history here. Will you be writing more like this?
