What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Nancy Saltzman I wanted to write a memoir but I wasn't sure where to start. A freelance writer suggested what later seemed obvious...start with an outline! I did and starting writing from the beginning to the end and when I was finished I had several others read the manuscript and give me feedback. Then I started at the beginning and re-wrote to the end. This is how I finally got my words down on paper and ready for an editor.
