How do you get inspired to write?

Annie Streger Hmmm. Sometimes, real-world events spark the beginning of a story; but, more often than not, I conjure up an idea out of boredom. And, if I'm perfectly honest, I go a little crazy if I'm not doing something creative.

I constantly jot down ideas and eventually come back to them to develop a story.

I will say, I HAVE to listen to music when writing, and I have a hard time doing it at home. I don't love coffee, but I usually end up in a quiet corner of a coffee shop to get my work done.
