Have you ever considered co-authoring a book? I think that your writing style would mesh in a wonderful way with Brandon Sanderson. I understand that it could be a huge challenge, but it's been really successful (in my opinion) in the past. Just a wild thought. :)

Hey Dave, This is something my wife (the business genius) keeps saying I should do. It'd be a good way to cross-pollinate my readers and another author's readers, a win-win for all.
The problem...I don't play well with others, especially when it comes to writing. I'm very particular and would constantly be editing areas of the book written by "the other guy/gal," and that would be frustrating for both of us. Quite frankly it would be a nightmare.
That said, for aspiring authors out there, I highly recommend the practice for the same reasons Robin want's me to do it. If you can play well with others it could mean a great opportunity.
Thanks for asking Dave.

Hi Michael, first of all, I really enjoyed the Riyria Revelation series, good job!
I have a question but I'm trying to phrase so that I'm not revealing a spoiler to anyone reading this. Given the origin of Royce and some specific events that happened in Ratibor, how come he was an homeless orphan? Someone must have taken care of him for a while, right? So what happened exactly to him in those first years? Thanks!
