Hi Chris. I have been to your book tour at Quail Ridge books in Raleigh NC for the last two Januarys. Your tour plans don't show you in NC at all this time. Is there still a chance that it might be added? I have read an early copy of The Sleepwalker (loved it) and would love to hear you talk about it. Thanks

Hi, Sue,
Greetings back! Lovely to hear from you.
No, North Carolina is not on the tour this year. I wish it were because there are so many great bookstores and so many wonderful readers.
Unfortunately, we need to keep these tours to three weeks and 20 or 21 venues. And because I have had the privilege of visiting North Carolina on every tour since 2012 -- plus some other speeches -- Doubleday is sending me to some different cities in January.
Would you forgive me? I know I will be back again soon.
And thank you so much for your kind words about "The Sleepwalker" and spreading the love. Those five-star reviews are rare and precious gifts and I am deeply appreciative. Truly.
Have a great holiday season. See you again soon!
All the best,
Chris B.

Of course The Flight ATTENDANT SHOW was different than your book. In the show it shows the killer dead in the bathtub and then she is alive again, how is this so? More important the show sort of follows the book except for the ending but what will the show do for a storyline for season 2, make up a story? Will you write the story for season 2? Best regards, Rick W from Williston, Vermont

I read Midwives in one of my first book clubs ever when I worked for Minnesota Parent magazine back in the late 90s. When the meeting was attended by a couple of homebirth advocates, they clapped when I advised your book did not change my mind about being open to a homebirth. Glad to report my third was born wonderfully at home. What do you have in the works next? I've read a few of your books, but gladly have more.

Just wanted you to know we read Light in The Ruins for our library's Ladies' Night Out Book Club and had a most fascinating discussion. I've been a big fan of yours for years and am continually happy to recommend your books to our library patrons. What book are you currently working on?
