Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Scott Depalma The main theme of Grandson of a Ghost is how childhood experience resonates throughout a lifetime. Late in life I came to understand this — through the work with my psychotherapist — and the realization was profound. I decided to recount the tale from childhood through the therapy sessions, so that readers experience the story in 'real time' along with the protagonist, and piece together the ramifications of the early years at the same time.
