How do you get inspired to write?

K.F. Jones I don't, it's not about inspiration, finding your muse, getting over writer's block or anything mystical. Writing is a job like any other and you need to discipline yourself. The things that inspire you don't cause lightning bolts to course through your brain and create stories out of nothing. I use Pinterest to take note of images that can be helpful such as buildings, countryside, people, clothes. In order to sit down and write though I have to cut out all distraction, ironically that's often turning off writing advice podcasts and Youtube videos! :)
