Hi Rebecca, I absolutely love the Scorpius Syndrome books. They are the first books by you that I have read and I truly fell in love with the concept, characters, and setting. My question is, where did you get your inspiration for the setting of Scorpius Syndrome. It is so well described it is easy to visualize the world and I am curious as to what inspired it? Thank you.

Hi Heather,
Thank you! I'm so glad you're liking that wild world and wounded characters. I knew I wanted an inner city setting for the beginning of the series just because of all the specific challenges the characters would face. There's a scene in one of the Transformer movies where the hero rides through a demolished city after an attack, and it was so visual to me that I could see something similar in a series.

I just finished Tangled. The way it ended I felt like that story arc was not complete because we just got to see Uncle Benny and I felt like Uncle Benny needed his own book. Will we be seeing him in future books and will he be getting his own book?

I am dying. Having a friend write this for me. I am blind and I’m sure this has already been asked. But when will winter igniting be on audio? You’re an artist and I’m obsessed. I wish I could read your words for real but instead I’ve listened obsessively to each book in this series multiple times. You’re killing me girl! Please keep it up with the audio versions. Thank you
