Write! And, write a lot. If you don't have the time (the excuse I hear the most!), that means you need to find it. You might not be able to find even an hour a day, but I bet you can find five or ten minutes (even if you had to get up early). Many authors, myself included, have written books on the fringes of the day, and in tiny chunks of time. Let your ideas out! :)
