Goodreads asked Abhijeet Singh:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Abhijeet Singh Thoroughly introspect this notion of pursuing a career in writing. If you are doing it for money, stop it immediately. It isn't going to pay you a single penny. So start with short stories. After you have written some good number of short stories, then proceed with a full-fledged book. And most importantly, write for yourself. If your work doesn't amaze you, then rewrite it. I will also add here, writing a book, specifically a fictional novel, is a wonderful experience. While writing fiction, you travel within yourself. You discover yourself. By the time, your first book is over; you have a faint idea of who you are. And when you write another fiction, you take a rebirth, like a phoenix. Beauty is in a single life; you live many lives. And that joy can't be substituted with money.
