How do you get inspired to write?

A. Shiloh When I started my new job, things could get slow at times, so I'd read books (plus I don't have any children, so I have more free time). After reading about thirty or forty of them and realizing that at times the main character in the books were driving me insane because of them giving in to the male lead roles when they have been a jerk, I decided to write my own and make my female lead a little more head strong. so I decided I wanted to write my own novel and create obstacles and responses that didn't include the female lead to give in so quickly.
