Shey asked Kasie West:

Do you have any tips for a young author writing a book? I feel like I have great ideas but I can't always put them to words and write a few hundred pages about it. I always end up getting bored with the story or can never find time to sit down and plan out what will happen.

Kasie West I'm not great at advice because everyone writes so differently so what works for me, might not work for you. So really you have to find out the magic combination of events that helps you to write. But I will say, practice helps. The more you sit down and force yourself to write, the easier it gets. And maybe outlining would help for you if you're having trouble turning an idea into lots of pages. Follow a story arc chart and fill in some things in your story that should happen to check off the requirements of the arc. That could help you practice and get into the mode of thinking of things that will build tension and such. Bottom line is just to write. The more you write the better you get.
