Do you feel popular enough yet? I will look for the Freddie series next. I have three grades - K-2 - that are what we call DLI classes. They learn in Spanish half a day and English the other half. I am looking for books with Spanish for them. We also have a large hispanic population and I always try to find books they can relate to as well. You do a great job and the storylines are very realistic.

Thank you so much, Amy. I am so glad to hear that your students relate to my books. The characters are all based on the students I taught as an elementary school librarian. More Sofia books were just released in January: Abuela's Special Letters and Shopping Trip Trouble. There will also be a trade bind up in paperback with three stories inside called My Fantastica Family. That will be released February 1, 2017.

I love your series on Sophia Martinez. Do you think you will write more for that series? I know the Spanish-speaking children at my school are going to love this series, as well as the rest of my students. It has been difficult to find books that students from Mexico and other South American countries can relate to. I am always on the hunt for new ones they will like. Keep up the great work!
