So much I want to know.....lol -What inspired you for Julia's first time? What made you write Gabriel like that? (It was the perfect 'first'.) -Where did the inspiration come from for The Florentine Series? (I've always had a facination with the vampire world. The way you mixed that with romance....The best ever!)

Hello Kristi,
Thanks for your kind words.
For the scene between Julia and Gabriel... it was the culmination of a lot of things in their history. Gabriel adores Julia the way Dante adores Beatrice. So that adoration had to be a central focus.
For the Florentine Series ... Florence is my favourite city. I've spent quite a bit of time there. At night, the city changes. There are lots of alleys and dark corners. And because the architecture is so interesting and so historical, it's easy to imagine supernatural beings sitting on roofs in the darkness surveying human happenings below. That's where the idea began - a being on top of the Duomo watching the city.
Thanks for reading and all the best, SR

I don't really have a question for you Mr Reynard, I just wanted to say I just re-read all the Gabriel books in anticipation of Gabriel's Promise. I read them all a few years back when they first came out and I loved them so much. I had forgotten just how much until I re-read them. And man alive do I ever have a book hangover now waiting for December (haha)! Are you accepting ARC readers for Promise? tyvm!
