Goodreads asked David E. Grogan:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

David E. Grogan Whenever I'm driving between cities, I turn off the car radio and just think. In fact, whenever I got bogged down writing my latest book, The Hidden Key, I'd use my frequent trips between Champaign, Illinois, and Chicago, to think through the next scenes. So that I would not forget what I'd come up with, I'd either stop at a rest area and dictate an outline of the way forward into my phone, or at home that night I'd type out an outline of my thoughts from the trip.
