Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Tracey Christiansen I was approached by two Swedish sailors who wanted their story published in English having had success with a publication in Swedish. A translation was out of the question as the original story was 'too Swedish'; the references would have been unknown to any readers unfamiliar with Scandinavia. A complete retelling of their story was required to give context to their adventures and to update what has happened to the places they visited in the interim. It was very amusing interviewing Yanne and Carl, listening to their hilarious account and interesting to research their journey, so I believe the book should prove interesting to read. It's not just a book about sailing; it's about following your dreams and the adventures, people and places you encounter on the way.
