My characters start feeding me information. If I'm busying doing something else, such as finishing a book or the boat needs attention, they start nagging. At that point I write down a paragraph or sometimes a chapter.

Hi, I have just finished Miss Featherton's Christmas Prince. I am now wondering about Cressida Banks and her brother's 'Christmas present' (his friend) and wonder if you are going to write a novel or novella to tie up such an intriguing loose-end?
