That's a tough one to answer. But last year I saw Crimson Peak and thought it was fantastic. So, for the moment, I'm going to say Thomas Sharpe and Edith.
As for a literary couple, I'll offer the Witcher Geralt and the sorceress Yennifer. They're relationship is one of the most realistic I've encountered in fantasy novels, which are usually filled with overly happy couples. I enjoy their complex on-and-off situation.
